Blanket your whole home with full-strength, ultra-fast Wi-Fi using the Velop Mesh Wi-Fi system. Unlike traditional router and extender, the Velop uses Mesh technology to create a fast, seamless Wi-Fi throughout your home under the same Wi-Fi name (SSID), eliminating the need to manually switch between different SSIDs. The Velop Dual-Band complies with 802.11ac, operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, and delivers wireless speed of 400 Mbps and 867 Mbps respectively*. Start your Mesh Wi-Fi with one node, and expand the wireless coverage by adding more Velop units (sold separately). With the Linksys mobile app, you can easily set up, manage and monitor your network from your phone or tablet, whether at home or away. And its clean, sleek design allows the Velop to fit in with a variety of room fashions.

Which WiFi System Is Best for Your Home?
Apartment/Single Story Home
One node is all you need for apartment or single story home. But if you encounter interference from your neighbors' WiFi, simply add a second node.
Modern Single Family Homes
If you live in a 2-story, modern and contemporary home with metal construction, you will need two nodes for unobstructed WiFi.
Multi-Story Homes
For homes with lots of brick and concrete or basements, like Brownstones, three nodes are necessary for unimpeded WiFi. Simply Place a node in each floor.
Large/Ranch Style Homes
For homes that are long with lots of square footage, a Velop system with three nodes will provide great WiFi throughout your home.

* Maximum Performance derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual performance may vary, including lower wireless network capacity, data throughput rate, speed, range and coverage. Performance depends upon many factors, conditions and variables, including building materials and construction, volume of network traffic, mix of wireless products used, interference and other adverse conditions. In order to achieve the best performance, this product must be used with compatible AC1300 wireless devices. The standard transmission rates for each node—867 Mbps (for 5 GHz radio), 400 Mbps (for 2.4 GHz)—are the physical data rates. Actual data throughput will be lower and may depend on the mix of wireless products used and external factors.
