The 18 lens elements includes one Super UD lens element and two UD lens elements for images with high resolution and contrast, and two types of aspherical lens elements for minimum spherical aberration. The ring USM (Ultrasonic Focus Motor), high-speed CPU, and optimized AF algorithms ensure fast, accurate, smooth, and silent autofocus. This zoom lens has a Canon EF camera mount, making it compatible with various Cannon cameras.
